Mineola wildlife control tip of the month:
Hello David, Thank you for all your terrific information about critters in the Mineola animal control attic. We have had heard scratching and
scurrying in our attic since January. We saw a good size hole, about the size of a cantalope, at the base of our chimney
where the chimney meets the roof. We had it closed up several weeks ago. I Mineola animal control was at work, and the contractors came out
fairly early, about 8:30. It had been raining that morning so I wasn't really expecting them to come that day. I hoped
they would wait until a little later so the animals would leave the attic. We always Mineola pest control heard them around 9:00 or 10:00 PM
and then again the next morning. Unfortunately they closed the animal(s) in because later we heard them going crazy scratching
and clawing. The next morning we discovered three soffit vents torn open. The holes Mineola wildlife removal didn't look large enough for a raccoon so
we thought they were squirrels. The holes were perhaps about 8 inches long by 4 Mineola animal trapping or 5 inches wide.
We've had two pest control places come out and one fellow from Nuisance Wildlife in Long Island, New York. He is actually the only
person who said he thought it was a raccoon. He asked us if we had heard any Mineola animal trapping squeaking or chatting noises. I told him we had not.
We had even been up in the attic listening and heard nothing. I Mineola exterminator doubted his opinion since we have so many squirrels and the other
two told me if was most likely gray squirrels. In the past, when there have been raccoons in our neighborhood, they caused havoc
with trashcans and ate the neighbor's cat food and did Mineola exterminator other mischievous things. No one has observed that on our street this time.
